A song about the film Friday 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter
lyrics
Out in the country it's so isolating,
But you're still not safe when these psychos are waiting,
Out in the woods there's a lot you don't know,
So you stay right here, fix these lights on your own,
And you're always forgetting to keep the doors closed,
While everyone else hammers nails in their windows,
And thinking about what's going on next door,
Keep peering out hoping for more...
But don't worry Tommy, you're gonna be fine,
I'd do the same if that knife had been mine,
I know they said 'final', but there's more down the line,
It's gonna grow back, just give it some time,
It's gonna grow back, just give it 'til Five,
Creating new masks, cover up every day,
Whatever they say keeps these monsters at bay,
It'd be nice to have company, give a tour of your room,
But we all know that getting too close means you're doomed,
The water looks crystal but you can't go in,
There's holes in the boat and the devil can swim,
Easy to think we're all dead fucks this way,
Incredible to make it through to the day,
Incredible to make it through to the day...
But don't worry Tommy, you're gonna be fine,
I'd do the same if that knife had been mine,
I know they said 'final', but there's more down the line,
It's gonna grow back, just give it some time,
It's gonna grow back, just give it 'til Five,
But don't worry Tommy, you're gonna be fine,
You'll get your machete in time,
You'll get your machete in time.

Down In Autumn is a Northern Irish ‘band’ that mainly consists of one member.
Occasionally other people will lend
their talents to various recordings and performances, but usually Down In Autumn is small, mostly-acoustic, home-recorded songs all scrappily put together by me, Thomas McCann...more
I listened to few albums more in 2013 than this gem. A throwback to that great 90s grunge-rock sound, I never get tired of listening to these songs. Down In Autumn
This is an absolute classic, and you can get it for nothing, which is kinda criminal, but also means you have no excuse. Fishing The Sky in particular is a masterpiece. Down In Autumn
